David has been involved in building construction for 46 years. He began his career training with chartered structural engineers. He became a licentiate of the CIOB in 1977 and a corporate member in 1993.
A member of the Architecture and Surveyors Institute shortly after and a member of the RICS on the amalgamation of the two institutions. An associate of the Institute of Arbitrators in 1997 and a member in 1999.
He has experience with all types and sizes of buildings. For 20 years has been a sole practitioner and now deals with building defects and disputes as an expert witness, party wall matters and pre-acquisition surveys.
