Qualified as a Barrister-at-Law (Nigeria) in 1989 and as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales in 2003. Practised in Nigeria from 1990 to the present, worked with a firm of solicitors in the City of London in 1997 on a training programme, and as a Sole Practitioner in London since 2003. I have great experience of Nigerian/UK commercial law and civil and criminal litigation together with experience in cross border project finance, intellectual property, family, children’s rights issues, probate, human rights litigation and frequently deal with Nigerian matters in many areas of law from the UK and Nigeria offices. I have extensive dealings with Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) with regard to property and asset recovery transactions for various international Clients. I am a member of the IBA – International Bar Association (both its Credentials Working Committee and its World Trade Organisation Team) and an Associate Member of the American Bar Association. I have achieved the distinguished qualification of IBA Fellow in International Legal Practice. I am registered with the DIFC Courts.
