I have been a Consultant Neurosurgeon for more than ten years and I am now Head of Specialty at Bristol. I have been preparing reports, particularly medical negligence claims, for the last ten years. I have prepared in excess of 250 reports taking many repeat instructions. Instructed 60% Defendant: 40% Claimant. I am regularly instructed in claims exceeding one million pounds and am experienced in case conferences with Counsel and preparing cases for Court. I have established expertise in cranial and spinal pathology, particularly head injury, brain and spinal tumours, intracranial haemorrhage, spinal injury, cauda equina syndrome, infection and disc prolapse.
