Barry Gore has over 48 years experience working in consulting engineering practices on the design, management and construction of building services. During his initial training at SVM & Partners from 1964 to 1977 he obtained his qualifications leading to Corporate Membership of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers and was made a fellow of the Institution in December 1986. He was granted Chartered Engineer status in 1990.
Barry has considerable experience working on major projects both in the UK and overseas. He has travelled extensively in the course of business, including China, Hong Kong, Bahrain, Oman, Nigeria, USA, Canada, Australia, UAE and Europe. In December 1988 he formed his own company, The Gore Partnership Limited. Which was acquired by Waterman Partnership Holdings Plc, in April 1993 the company changed its name to Waterman Gore Limited.
Barry has worked at a senior level and for 13 years as Plc Director with Waterman Group Plc. He has had a direct responsibility for acquisitions worldwide. He is now the MD of The Gore Partnership Limited.
Barry has extensive expert witness experience with various clients, in the areas of construction litigation and rent reviews and has been involved in Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration and has given evidence in the Construction Court.
