Eur Ing Dom Barraclough

A Chartered Engineer with European Registration with some 30 years industrial experience in engineering design, manufacture, application, fault finding, commissioning and installation. Dom won the WT Parker prize for electronics, has an honours degree in Agricultural Engineering, and a Masters degree in Mechatronics.

He has wide practical experience of consumer goods design, M&E (plumbing and electrical systems), plant and equipment design, materials handling, physical and fire security products, in sectors including agriculture, automotive, manufacturing, mining, and construction. Dom is also trained to the Wiring Regulations for Inspection, Test and Certification. He has wide experience of investigations into product failures, including electrical fires, plumbing systems, large and small plant and equipment. He has been instructed as an expert witness over 200 times, including in police actions, HSE prosecutions, and technical and personal injury civil matters. Dom has given evidence and receives regular training, including Bond Solon courses in Civil Law and Procedure, Excellence in Report Writing and Courtroom Skills.
