Mr Joydeep Sinha is a specialist shoulder and upper limb surgeon at London Bridge Orthopaedics. He is an experienced consultant, having been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at King’s College Hospital, London, since 1996. He qualified from the University of Manchester in 1985, and later went on to undertake surgical training at the Hammersmith Hospital and St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, London, gaining experience in General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery.
With special interest in Shoulder and Elbow conditions, and while his has a very holistic and conservative approach to injury management, he is also an expert surgeon who is able to perform complex surgical procedures. He has a special interest in arthroscopic “keyhole” shoulder and elbow surgery, shoulder replacements, upper limb sports injuries and upper limb trauma.
Mr. Sinha has worked with his colleagues at KCH, to develop the Upper Limb Unit, which has achieved national and international recognition. Mr. Sinha has also been Clinical Director for Orthopaedics, and has been Clinical Lead in Orthopaedics and Day Surgery at KCH. He is currently Clinical Director of Surgery at KCH and Joint CAG Leader for Trauma and Orthopaedics, Kings Health Partners.
Mr. Sinha has lectured locally, nationally and internationally on both upper limb trauma and shoulder surgery. He also works in Undergraduate Training (medical students) and Postgraduate Teaching at King’s College, University of London.
