Mrs Sharon Scott has been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon since 2007. She has been a full-time orthopaedic trauma surgeon for the last 9 years (previously included elective lower limb arthroplasty)
Mrs Scott has extensive experience in general orthopaedic with sub-specialist interest in trauma. She contributes to the regional pelvic and acetabular trauma service and receive tertiary referrals for blunt chest trauma for patients requiring rib fixation. Mrs Scott was pivotal to the development of her hospitals’ major trauma service and remains actively involved in the care of patients from initial presentation to re-enablement.
Mrs Scott undertakes teaching with positions at the; Royal College of Surgeons Damage Control Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery Course Faculty, AO Trauma Faculty, European Pelvic and Acetabular Course Faculty, Regional Registrar Training Programme and is a Honorary Lecturer at Liverpool Medical School.
