BE PART OF THE MUST ATTEND VIRTUAL EVENT FOR THE ENTIRE FORENSICS SECTOR
Forensics Middle East & Africa will run as a fully virtual event on the same dates it was meant to take place physically in Cairo - 12-14 October 2020.
The virtual event will offer a much-needed space where the community of forensic practitioners - many of whom are frontliners in the current pandemic - to learn, train, discuss and network without needing to leave their home or office.
Call for papers
The 2020 Forensics Middle East and Africa Conference Call for Papers has opened. Papers submitted after the deadline may not be reviewed at all for this year’s conference.
Overview
For our first edition of Forensic MEA 2020, prospective authors are kindly encouraged to contribute to and help shape the conference through submissions of their research abstracts and papers. Focusing on this year’s theme ‘Future directions and frontiers in forensics practice’ highlighting the Forensic Science challenges facing Africa and the Middle East’s capability gap and the novel measures taken for interpretation.
Submitted papers should include high quality research contributions describing original and unpublished results of conceptual, constructive, experimental or theoretical work in all areas of Forensic Sciences. The conference solicits contributions of abstracts and papers that address themes and topics of the conference, including figures, tables and references of novel research materials.
We are interested in promoting, inspiring and embracing applied forensics practice work and we are aiming to position this conference as the premiere venue for the forensic networking world.
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The below paper categories are welcome.
We are particularly interested in presentations covering the following topics:
Virtual autopsy
Interpersonal violence
Clinical trials in toxicology
Child abuse/ sexual assault / violence against women cases
Clinical forensic medicine
Biological warfare
Medical law
Explosives – fire debris analysis
Forensic histopathology
Nano technology
Disaster Management
Other studies that may be related to overall conference scope will also be considered for presentation as long as they meet the main submission criteria.
